Rongoā Clinic

Mirimiri, Romiromi me Mahi ā Wheua

At the heart of Ahoake is our rongoā clinic, a warm, grounded space where wairua, tinana, hinengaro, and whakapapa are honoured equally. Rooted in traditional Māori healing and guided by the values of connection, balance, and uplift, the Ahoake Clinic offers a gentle, supportive environment for healing and restoration. Every session is shaped around you: your story, your energy, and the shifts you are ready for. Our kaupapa is simple — to help you rise, reconnect, and return to your natural state of balance.

We provide Mirimiri, Romiromi, Mahi ā Wheua, and Rongoā informed practices, with a focus on clearing, recalibrating, and supporting long-term wellbeing. Sessions weave together kōrero, bodywork, traditional pressure point techniques, energetic realignment, and the use of natural plant-based remedies where appropriate.

Most of our healing sessions are fully funded, making culturally grounded care accessible for our whānau. Funding is available through ACC Injury or Sensitive Claims, Tūwharetoa Health, and Instep EAP (Employee Assistance Programme). Private sessions are also available for those not covered under these pathways.

All sessions take place in-clinic and are carried out fully clothed. Please wear comfortable clothing (not jeans), so your body can move and settle easily during the mahi. After each session, it’s important to stay well hydrated — this helps your tinana flush and release the toxins and energetic shifts that continue to move through the body over the next 24+ hours.

Whether you come for healing, clarity, support through stress or injury, or simply a moment to breathe deeply again, the Ahoake Clinic welcomes you with aroha, respect, and intention. Here, healing is relational, intuitive, and deeply connected to whenua, whakapapa, and the sacred threads that bind us all.
